Hi all I just signed up, been to a LAN before and had a great time. Got a few friends I can prolly get to sign up as well. I have been trying to set up my own LAN group but it will be alot easier to just enrol in one ;)

Would'nt mind knowing what kinda games you generally play? I am pretty dam good at AoE beating the guys at the last event 1v5 lol but I also play most of the FPS I am pretty hot on E.T. and am gonna buy BF1942 at the end of the month.

Thats all just wanted to say Hi !

well you picked the right LAN group to take an interest in as we play a vast array of games with at the moment a large proportion of them being FPS such as ET, BF1942 (desert combat), Call of Duty and some classics like serious sam 2. Also at the last few events we have had Projector games which is interesting i.e. 30 person bomberman games!!!

I really wouldn't worry about playing CS its interesting for about 5 mins so its nothing special plus the new version 1.6 is shite!

Another good game played at the LAN is Command & Conquer Generals and Zero Hour which are kinda tactical strategy games but a good laugh.

Hope to see u at the next event

Even if you don't see people playing a game you'd like to, you can always ask around and you're bound to find someone who's willing to play a game of whatever you like.

Hello and welcome!

Pretty hot on ET eh? those be fighting words.

ET was played a fair amount at the last event and people that hadn't played before managed to pick it up real quick (which was good for me and my tempermental screaming of "OMFG NOOB MOVE!")

As for games, everything is played, there is always someone willing to join in on something. we have people playing NFSU, Rail Road Tycoon 2 (albeit for 5 mins until it crashed) Serious Sam is a laugh also.

As Tubbyman pointed out we had www.projectorgames.com (http://www.projectorgames.com) come down and set up there gaming stuff, and we played bomberman on 3 projector screens with 32 people :) (they can take up 255 players! if you can find the controllers) check out there site and our gallery to see more.

We also played You Don't Know Jack on the projector screens absoulty halrious, seeing a room full of half drunk half asleep people trying to answer questions :D

Then there was the ?350 Pizza order (50 Pizzas).

By the look of the picture you are well adapted and just crashing where-ever your head falls, you'll be well suited to the BIG GAME :)

Rail Road Tycoon 2

erm it was railroad tycoon 3 dave but yes the net code on that was the shitest ever!!!! most annoying.

I first came to the Big Game about 2yrs ago and loved it since then i have been to 4 events and always had a good time. The people there are a great bunch and its such a friendly atmosphere unless you break either of the following rules:

1) Steal any of my food!!!!
2) Beat me to the front the pizza que!
3) Disturbe me while eating!
4) Wake up putty_thing!

check out some of the photos of the last lan

If you want to aquire my attension fast, aswell as half the crew, Jaffa Cakes should be your weapon of choice, either that or just asking us for help... both work well (Jaffa Cakes work faster)
