I know most of you like getting rewared for posting stuff, so once again the post ranking system is back, I've already filled it with a fair few ranks based on the militry theme (as it the easiet to do) but if people feel this is inapropiate for our forums please feel free to make your own and post them here, we can then decide on the best ones and use it :)

Anyway, for now the Ranks are as follows:

Ha :) You wish... Actually so do I, I'm annoyed at the lose of the forum, it pains me to see this place with only a few threads and post when our last one had reached over 5000.

Alas, no point feeling sorry for something we can not change. Just have to hold our heads up hi and keep moving on :)

err dave i have just re-read the list of post categories (private, private first class etc.) and just being nosey what the hell army did u base it on? I mean there are cheif warrant officers in there and they are only in the navy. Its prolly the americans as they are pretty fucked up lol :D

hmmm surely you could have shortened that and maybe said that 99 x10(to the power of)9 that would have done the trick. I'm just bored and making sure my new windows xp professional operating system worksYour right, I could but I didn't. and its nice to know your new installed OS works.

Back on topic now, found the UK list, slighty shorter than the US (our army doesn't make ranks up to make people feel important..) I've added a few notes about what I found out.

In reverse order:

Field Marshal (Also know as General of War, only used at War time)
General
Lieutenant General
Major General
Brigadier (Used to be Brigadier General)
Colonel
Lieutenant Colonel
Major
Captain
Lieutenant
2nd Lieutenant
Warrant Officer Class 1 (RSM and WOC1 are the same, apart from the fact one officer has commision the other doesn't)
Regimental Sergeant Major
Warrant Officer Class 2 (CSM and WOC2 are the same, apart from the fact one officer has commision the other doesn't)
Company Sergeant Major
Staff Sergeant
Sergeant (My dad was this! :D)

Right, Updated. User Titles are now currently based on the U.K. Army (Be the Best!)

Currently you get rewards upto around 500 threads, depending on how fast the forum moves I might up the stepping between ranks (currently at 25 posts per rank) If I do change it you'll get a de-promotion :( But it does mean your rank will be better ernt and therefor mean it means more :D - Respect the rank!
