The other day I was thinking about some of the classic tBG moments I?ve witnessed over the years, I then thought this will make a great thread; but it needed more, it needed some comedy, we need to bastardise adverts!

It?s just a start but I came up with this, mine is from the last LAN but feel free to cover any that you think really stand out!

Getting a train from Portsmouth to hedge end - ?8,
Ordering a HUGE curry Friday night - ?7,
Going to Sainsbury?s with Jim and building the mega baguette ?10,
...
...
...
...
Watching putty_things face drop as his pride and joy rc car was used as a launch ramp (imagine bits flying everywhere!) by Stitch/MDK/Morgan.....PRICELESS!!!

Let?s see what else we can do?

I fondly remeber the awesome Wedge vs (can't remeber who) UT2k4 tourney final which went into overtime after 15 or so minutes - real edge of the seat stuff.

Other than that, something that sticks out is beating the projectorgames lot in a 3 game challenge (Burnout 3, Half Life 2 DM, Dawn of War) to secure the much saught after pro-ev t-shirt (they still need to come and try and get it back :))

Yeah my 0-5 to 6-5 overtime win at UT2004 vs someone who actually played in a clan online was pretty sweet. The absolutly legendary TBG7 semi final of CS, we lost 9-3 first half and took it 10-2 in the second. And right up there from the last TBG was going 444-160 down in the CoD final score limit 450, them getting a score and my taking off my headphones thinking it was over, but by a miracle it was only a 1 pointer. We then take all the points from there to win, their last push with the scores at 444-445 was pretty extreme. TBG legendary comebacks seem to be many of my most memorable moments it seems.

Edit: Oh and they were guilty pleasures, but watching Lloyd soundly beat the guy who clearly fancied himself at Q4 and then go on to beat him at SF2 as well was quite entertaining ;)

I think wedge covered a lot of the major memories.

Some of the great Q3 3v3 games vs the Crew. Winning the first UT2k final on Bombing run at TBG15? and keeping a clean sheet.

Wedges PC leaking its coolent fluid onto my leg at TBG 17 :)

Drinking 12+ cans of red bull + not sleeping for a whole weekend, then trying to play a CS final with the caffine shakes! :D

An unpleasent memory was being woken up at 9am on both the Sat & Sunday of TBG 17 by little kids wanting to practice Judo in the main hall! I mean... 9am on a SUNDAY!! ffs are you MAD! :)

Long may there be many more great memories!

Yeah man that was a bad idea by Si to sleep on crash mats in the hall next door when we got rudely awoken at 9am by angry 3ft high kids in Karate outfits.

As for the most intense moment it absolutely has to be the one Wedge has already said at tbg 18 with the CoD tourney where, by some kind of divine intervention, we managed to pull it back with 1 point in it at the end. Insane.

Also Wedge's coolant leak was pretty comdey, but not for him I guess.

P.S. I'm still Stick Man Fighter champion Wedge ;?)
