Can EA redeem themselves?

They have produced some kack over the past few years but im soooo looking forward to Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars

But yeah, I hope EA can make another decent cop of it as opposed to so many of their games which simply suck.

The screenshots to me don't seem very C&C esque, they seem more Earth 2150 which is a bad thing... but we shall have to see when there's a demo floating about since screenshots never really do justice.

You know it'll be a good game, in the same way Generals is, unfortunatly that doesn't mean it'll be a good C&C game.

Though the reintroduction of the classic Dune/C&C Cutsense is a very welcome feature. and I have to say the gfx look spiffy yet clear, which is key in a Stratergy game.

Of course the real test is how it plays, no screenshot for video is going to tell us that. C&C is one of the only games that ever turely catered for a very common but neglected play style - Defensive, Techleveling and then the final steam roll - GDI ftw!

Though the Brother Hood of NOD are just so freaking cool :D

People will make C&C "3" a good game! - I just hope it comes with a easy editor and community support, like Warcraft III style, it would be near unstoppable then. But of course its still EA at the end of the day so it'll have no support, will be shipped as a game, for lots of money becuase of the fan based and then that'll be it.

shadow hit it on the nose, generals was a good game, shite single player but as a game in say multiplayer its very good and playable and i quite enjoy it. I just believe that it shouldnt be weilding a C&C tag.

i recon if they keep the same i dea for tech as the old games and user intereface and slapped some good content in there its possible it could be good. or we could be looking at another tiberian sun :P

Well I have to say I enjoyed Generals single player and I wouldn't really be interested in playing it multiplayer. Multiplayer RTSs (against human opponents at least) don't really appeal to me. Except maybe DoW, which was a lot of fun, but still had the same problem of memorising build orders and keyboard shortcuts which makes RTS multiplayer dull dull dull. It's a shame, because I've always loved C&C single player games.
