This is a screenshot from Sc4mpi's view, I am the red base as see in the lower part of the mini map (those are my shields/guns in the forground of the main view).

His base is... was at the back, under that pretty bright light :D

So SupCom is just a race to build a nuke first then?

No, not in the slightest, I was doing a lot better than Sc4mpi - who was learning, so he only got one anti-nuke bunker up, and it wasn't fully loaded, they can store 8 anti-nukes, where as nuke bunkers can only store 5. Nuke bunkers also take FOREVER to build, well over 45 mins with just one constructor.

The explosion you see in the pic above is his anti-nuke defence failing and my Nuke sub and Nuke Bunker firing their full payloads, I also teleported a Sub-Commander into the middle of the field, Teleporters take -100 mass, -1000 energy for 5 mins to build. BLOODY EXPENSIVE! and -10k energy to use, but sub-commanders have a emp nuke when they explode :)

So you are seeing about 4 nukes and 1 sub-commander exploding on his screen :P

Anti-Nuke is very easy cheap and fast to build, nukes are not - vs a player that's a bit more experienced you could not nuke past the defence, you have to take out the anti-nuke bunkers first.

Supcom, like TA is a race to resources, and just like in Dune 2, he who controls the spice controls the planet :)
