what you do is rate the sigs on this forums. starting with mine on a 1 to 10 scale.

Heh, the image is broken, so I give it a big fat 0, and if it works and is longer than 5 or so lines I'll give it a big fat deletetion. :)

If you need help hosting the image PM one of the crew members and they can upload it to temp storage for you. by temp I mean temp :) you will need to find a working host after a while - I tend to clean out rouge files frequently...

As for rating, I give Jynx's Sig the a rating of the sum of the sig.

OMG LOL!

so not only are you trying to link an attachment, you are trying to link to webmail.

The reason its fecked is simple, the webmail is on a secure connection so the image will only work for as long as you are logged into it, also every time you log in you are allocated a temp folder (a session folder) this will change every time you log in, so when you link the image to it, it'll work the first time, but it will break the next day, and its quite possible when it is working only you can see it as only you have the session cookied stored.

Well there are many companys and sites that will give you a small amount of space for free, just search on google.

Failing that (and this is something I have been waiting for you to do for sometime) is reply to a thread (say this is one) with your sig image as an attachment, then when making your sig, link to that attachment, that way the sig image you use for this forum will be hosted in our attachment database - which means I wont accidently delete it when spring cleaning the server.

xoom tripod and lycos all have b/w limits and they dont allow hot linking therefor they are no good.

Check with your OSP. I'm with BT at home and we get a free couple of hundred megs for website space which you can use for anything. This is ideal for me to host small images for forums etc. on.

Same, Nildram give you 200Meg with PHP (no mysql database tho) and thats unlimited tranfer etc.

Almost all ISP's give you some free space of some sort, and like BlackD says, its idea for hosting images for forums etc. whos your ISP?
