well "Yatta!" is Japanese for "yay!" so someone laughing then saying "yay!". Only thing I can deduce from Japanese games that have come out lately is Street Fighter IV, I have no clue which character though. I will guess Chun Li - it just sounds kind of a girly quote to me. Never played the game though, so god knows! I'm probably miles off.

That's reasonably impressive deduction, not least because it's almost-completely right. The answer is indeed Chun Li, though I was thinking of Street Fighter 2 Turbo (Championship Edition).
