Just a quick post to say that the times for the event are as follows :-

Start 6pm Friday the 2nd of April
Finish 6pm Sunday the 4th of April

We know the start is slightly later than most are used to but this is due to location constrainsts.

hi [UDS]ozmo here i was just woundering my moniter needs speshol power lead and in the info it says power leads the stuck to your table at the start. is it ok if i still bring my own :)

ps: i wood rely like to bring my joystik but that needs power as well lol so can i bring that a long as well

for 'special' monitors, just bring along the equipment you'd use to connect to a standard 3pin socket.

right i have said i want a plan b computer for the even do i need to bring a headset/mouse or my games as what if u dont have them?

Keyboard, Mouse and Head phones are provided, but if you want anything speical then you are free to bring your kit along.

The PlanB machines have the most common games installed on them (see www.planbgaming.co.uk for a list), if you want to play other games, you are of course free to bring them along.

But don't forget! Your planB machine isn't comfired until payment has been received, its first paid first served.

erm i think brighton to hedge end comes up in about 1hr 45mins at the slowest. Certainly thats the longest it ever took to get to my sister's house just off London Road in Brighton.

Request to have a nice 3 pin adaptor and an extra network cable to one's desk? I have a brilliant Vietnam/DC server which I can run and went wonderfully at Landed providing them with a server. (We're experts here you see :P ;) :cool: )

lo sple, was that the 64 player conquest server at landed? cos I never saw anyone in it (and i spent a lot of time looking at hlsw/ase looking for non-cs servers with people in them).

Think it might be crack issues as a lot of people had "data diffres from server" errors, thou that might be due to them not having the updates crack that lets u play on linux servers as well.

Due to sevral hard disk failures (well a suplier taking ages to replace a drive, and the disk in my desktop commiting suicide on the way back from landed), we might only have one planb server.

We currently have bfv, bf1942+dc, CoD, ut2k4, et and mta servers installed (thou id suggest giving bfv the whole box if were aiming for > 32 players on it)

we've allocated servers for most of the rest of that (apart from bf:v) gump, so mabye you could dedicate the box?

no it wasn't that 64 player server. I was running the no-cd crack at the request of the Landed Admin but at tbg will be running the normal game. :)

It will be a dedicated server with only BF:V on it so no need to worry.

And to an earlier post I wasn't saying that you couldn't do servers I was just offering to lighten the load :)

Almost forgot too :eek: - server spec is a 3Ghz P4, but it's my laptop atm. It does run a server absolutely wonderful for hours on end with bots in. I'm aiming though to bring a desktop server with us but I just have to confer with Munkeh about that as the stuff is round his.

And I'm going to still insist that Ultra-Serve will dominate BF:Whatever Mod/Game :p

Spec is Laptop P4 3.06Ghz w/512Mb Ram atm. It runs a server absolutely fine with no hiccups but I'm aiming to get a desktop as mentioned above :)

If somebody would be kind enough to lend us a > 5gig hard disk for the weekend we can bring our other server back to life. both are p4 2.4ghz with 1gig ram running slackware. whats the spec of the machine Cod will be running on? was playing it at lan.se on their server with horible lag at the start of matches when you have > 40 players :|

Thats a damn sweet lappy, i got a 2.2Ghz 640mb Hi-Grade from UNI it runs nice as a server but it get so hot its impressive. [Working on watercooling it hehe :P].

/me wants a 3Ghz P4 :(.

By the sound of it the Next TBG isn't gonna be for a little while yet, if all goes to my genius plan i should be able to help out with some servers. I've already got a Dual MP2000 with 1GB, a couple 2200XP machines with 512mb for servers and in a month or 2 i'll have a Dual Opteron and a my Mian rig will be free when I get my FX-53 up and running :). So if i can be of assistance then your welcome.

Nope no Typo has 640mb of DDR, and 64mb of Video memory[dedicated]. Its an ok lappy has its faults. Yeah will definatly set up a server at the next TBG, got stuff coming out of my ears hehe :P.
