I'm not really much of an MMOROFLRPG person, but this game's caught my eye (http://www.globalagendagame.com/) on Steam
Looks to have the MMO factor of Wow etc, but the fast-paced shooting and killing stuff (Which I like) of UT "Based on the UT3 Engine"
I've pre-ordered on Steam, giving me access to the Beta, so I shall report back then :)

FPS MMORPG's always fail. always. and for good reason.
FPS are fast paced instant gratification. if they become grind fest, they become boring. Plant-side, Tubala Risa etc.
Add to that, its hard enough to get high speed net code with latency correction working in a 8 player game, try making that work for 100-200 people? It failed hard in the titled mentioned above. Looking at say, WoW. it has 200ms latency correction, that means your actions can be delayed/pre-empt by 200ms by the client or the server. in WoW 200ms is fine, it's not a problem. you either hit your target or you didn't. you're casting spells and swinging axes, the spells always hit their target (even bows/guns use the same mechanics) as they don't travel in stright lines they are cast/fired "at" their target.
guns in FPS's travel in straight lines, 200 ms is enough time for your target to be a long way away from where you fired - if the latency compensation kicks in, you may take a perfect sniper shot, only for it to totally miss - if they used a similar mechanic to that of Wow, where you fire "at" your target, that's basically the same as auto-aim with a roll of the dice to determine if you hit or not - at which point the high paced action is an illusion, and aim means nothing, as long as when you pulled the trigger your target was "within 200 ms of you".
You've played CS or Quake with 200ms lag, its almost impossible. - do not expect a MMORPG to get <100 latencys with lots of people on screen, it just wont happen with the current internet.
It'll get a subscriber base, sure. for a year maybe 2. but I can't see it going the distance.

ok, Fird Person Shooter!
Over the shoulder, "we've joined the console generation", "dispute the fact its SHIT" Person Shooter.
Either way, its a shooter. and if its not FPS in its shooter element, it'll be even WORSE.
But like all MMORPG's I'll give it a go regardless, I could be surprised. but AoC didn't surprise, Aion didn't surprise (Aion however is actually fun, in a pure/stale carbon copy its everything you expect RPG way), WarOnline didn't surprise, nor did MEO etc etc.
My hopes are currently being pinned on Biowares SW:tOR for MMORPG and for Guildwars 2 for hacknslash (as we wont see D3 until 2011)

I'll admit Dave, as I said before, I've never been much of an MMO man. I played Aion a couple of weeks ago and actually liked it. Never got into this Warcraft stuff. I'm more of a "If it shoots something and makes blood, I'm happy" kind of person.
I'm pretty much dabbling my toe into the waters of MMO at the moment. Hopefully GA won't dissapoint. When I get the Beta I'll let you know what I think :)

haha, I'll most likely join you, I expect Fileplanet will give their subscribers access to the Beta - seems to be the only advantage to actually paying for downloads.
I do fear it wont have the very aspect you play games for, the shooty shooty killy killy blood splattery bit - but we shall see.
Graphically its very clean, and the style doesn't seem to bad (looks like its taken a page from Tribes book)
