best game at the lan?

before i asked you what you thought would be best, so now you can see how accurate your predictions were - what was the best game @ the event?

my vote would have to go with ut2k4.

ut2k4 (onslaught) for me . . . tho getting owned at COD came a resonably close second and projectorgames (1942) not far behind as third

UT2K4, both the tourney and the few games of onslaught I played were superb. A big thanks has to go out to DDP and BobNT for backing up my skills like badasses and Jared for running me over with the hover-thingy ALL THE FREAKING TIME!!

Gotta say UT2k4 as well, wish I could have been involved in the tourney, and that I had a better graphics card to get the nicest effects!

i definatly enjoyed the UT2k4 more than any other game there, i keep getting increasingly frustrated with battlefield it seems that if you arent in either a plane of a helicopter you seem to do nothing but die again and again!!

Yeah... I liked Quake but then everybody did waaaay back then.

UT2K4 bears very little resemblance to Quake in mine opinion. I do not remember any vehicles? They both have rocket launchers I guess...

Yes, the UT2k4 was by far the best. In fact, I didn't even play anything else the whole time it was that good. Oh, except for squeezing in a little Diablo 2 right at the end.
