Hey guys new to CS and jus wanted to know where i can get my hands on sum skins from. Saw a few peeps usin em like sc4mpi etc.

So plz jus post some suggestions or links cos my cs is feelin lonely wivout skins tbh

Used to be a mod (for the mod...) called CS realism, it actually made the game playable, by giving it decent gun sounds and better looking skins, but since Steam I don't belive it works...

Who knows? Who Cares?

You coudl just play a decent game that dosnt need skins to look good, try one of the battlefield games, or dc, or for some serious fps strategy NS (to see how a hl mod should be done) or ET, cause it rules and is free!

I PLAY ALL OF THEM LOL. im jus gettin into cs and the grphics r shit tbh, but i knew that u could mod it/ skin it which made the grphics look 321344352343X better.

Jus askin whether anyone knew bout it.

I dought it, CS is getting to the pinacle of HL gfx tech. NS is at the pinnacle.

CS gfx are shit, ture. But the game is over 4 years old...

NS is awsome, but it has a extemely talented team that are allowed to do what they want with the project - unlike CS which has become so big any dynamic changes to it would cause outrage. - ani't success a sucker?

I would have been playing it all the time if it wasn't for the gayness of steam - would have been nice for steam to let people know HOW to use the offline mode eh? :)

As for the CS thingy, CS Nation, UK Terrorist etc. good places to start in your hunt, Planethalflife/cs too.

Dude, try out the new Fusion Pack, my bro's just been playing it and both the player models and the Guns (+sounds) are awesome. If nothing else take a look at them...it's really really good.

lol CS/CZ the one game where they (originally) made the textures worse, there not great still mind. But those skins are quite nice mind.

Someone already posted it... so go there goddamn it!! They have a well rated archive of all the greatest models for the greatest multiplayer action game ever (hehe hide)! Packs have kinda gone out of fashion because each individual author doesn't like being lumped in with other peoples stuff.

As for sounds, the Maxx sound pak made by an old clan mate was head and shoulders above the rest... but where you might get it these days I've no idea :confused:

And as for offline steam.. we had to take 3 PCs over to Bobs house Friday night to log them into steam, and log it back out again in the correct way.. Fun?
