Its that time again :) I've been bored recently and so I have returned to playing Sim City 4 (until I muster the desire to return to UFO: Aftermath after I lost my saved game)
I thought I would share my wonderous achivments with you, as it has to be admitted looking at Sim Cities that are well built and work give you a warm fuzzy feeling, or a warm angry feeling becuase you can't do the same  :P
So without a futher ado, I present some pictures of my latest (and my second personal greatest) Los Marsoli - Enjoy :)

Looking good Dave, but what is that big black tower in the middle? I've never seen it before.

Its the Columbina Seafirst Center. In those pics it looks a little outta place, but was playing it all last night, currently got a population of 157,000ish, Had to reclaim land from the sea to upgrade my airport to an international airport, the commerical sector is almost all skyscrappers now :) Had to rebuild the entire hi-way to make it hirise to deal with the surge of traffic. got just over 2million in the bank, and fast running outta room :(

Humm, Didn't read anything about this in the feature list, have a nosey in your user cp, there are tons of options that are set to wierd defualts. Other than that I haven't got a clue, will look into it for you though.
If anyone else cannot see the attachment images above please let me know, thanks.

Well I do have to say that I am really getting to like this game again, but usually I start to destroy my own cities half way through with meteors :D
Think I'll let my current town grow to the full size of the region then take a few snapshots :)

Please do, I enjoy looking at other peoples city, to see how they have managed to get though problems of mass transit, water sortages and a million other things, nice to see other designs, my cities tend to start out nice and well planned, but always end up a mess :( I'm trying to work on the prefect plan so I don't have to destory anything to make room for anything, if you get what I mean.
Will post some new pics soon as my city has some what doubled in population

I've noticed that. I always try and keep my cities looking nice with a nice infrastructure but then it all goes pearshaped half way through and I end up having a hodge podge of a city.

Well, here's my 'city' so far. I've shown the region so far with my two smaller towns with the two bottom pictures being from Colchester (I wonder where I live?!) They are of my main residental/commercial centres and the industrial centre. Got a population of about 60k so far :D
Sorry about the picture sizes :p

Hi everyone,
I recently got Sim City 4 and i cant seem to make a profit. I set up residential, commercial and Industrial areas as soon as i start along with about 2-3 wind turbines, 2 water towers a small police/fire/medical clinic and an elementary school. The problem is no one seems to want to build in the commercial area. Please help me by e-mailing to
kiransrinivasan_99@hotmail.com
It would help so much
Thank you,
Kiran Srinivasan

you need to start with no police/medical or fire as they are a drain on resources once u are rich enough u can add them in later. It might be the wrong type of commercial i.e. dense commercial, or not a big enough zone

also watch the demand (rci) indicator, for what to build and what nor to build
