Unreal II Multiplayer

Anybody played the MP demo for Unreal II or am I the only sap out there.

I initially did not enjoy playing the demo but as I got into it and started to get to grips with it more I started to enjoy and before long the wife was wondering what I was up to.

That said This game made me realise just how well balanced ET is though.

This is the demo only with a new Unreal II XMP (Special edition) being released to buy and the MP add on made a freebie download for all those who have U2 already.

Heh, played it, keep thinking "I wish I was playing ET".

Its such a blatent cash in on the unexpected sucess of ET. Still I guess it provide an alterative.

I had the beta... it was nothing special... its a bit like tribes, or so I'm told

I thought it was enjoyable just not as enjoyable at ET. I wanted to learn everything about ET I dont get the same buzz playing this.

that said it is still a good crack just needs some balancing.

I am at a lose as to the purpose of Auto turrets and rockets when they inflict next to bugger all damage. This can be said for all the weapons though but this is again probably ET's fault as you point a gun at somebody in ET and invariably they die.
