ok, does anyone disagree with GC's setup? Since hes factored in a few things I hadn't configured. At the end of the day, I can set the server up how I like it, but i'd rather set it up how you guys want it

I'd rather keep fadetoblack 1 though, as not having it can lead to unfair advantages

True I am, but it would be nice of you to explain why you have proposed the rule set you have, for "CS noobs" like my self (would have wiped your ass on beta 7) and other players that arn't as "leet" in the losses sense of the word as you, Seeing a bunch of rules that are diffirent from another bunch means nothing to the casual gamering, please explain them, Tau did ask nicley :)

Not sure if those differ from GCs muchly, cba to check, but those are CPL baby :) (with a couple of alterations coz I don't think anyone's gonna want a long freezetime so they can converse with their coach etc) CPL also enforce a no words to be uttered once you die rule, which people may or may not think is a good idea... Fadetoblacks probably a good idea, you can always watch the people who are alive's screens anyhow...

As important as the above is a correctly configured config checker (notably for enforcing maxrate/101/101 rates and therefore providing a level playing field for those not aware of upping rates for LAN) and CD to be used on the servers. I know it's a LAN and nobody should be doing anything untoward, but as GC delights in telling us it's easy to hide and much better to be sure than dissatisfied!
