In line with recent government action, and to support Celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver's (http://www.jamieoliver.net/) recent campaign to improve the quality of food in schools (http://www.feedmebetter.com/) the BIG GAME will now no longer allow unhealthy food during any official event.
Alternative foods will be available for purchase and the infamous 'pizza run' will now be replaced with the improved 'rabbit run' allowing all attendees access to fresh food throughout the event, with cucumber sticks and fresh fruit readily available.
Studies from school rollouts show that increased concentration and improved behavior result from ingestion of better foodstuffs, heightening the already intense competition at the event.
We hope by pioneering the way with this initiative in LANs will be able to pick up the bat and concentrate on gamer health, as well as providing the ultimate gaming experience.

I have a comment. Why dont the comments appear on the home page like normal forum posts.
I spent the morning with my MD and I wish he was joking but unfortunately he was all to serious.
Also if you know who switched on the top up valve to my boiler forcing it to make noises like a car backfiring at 2:30 AM this morning when the Pressure valve kicked in please can they contact me cos it aint funny.
What was even less funny was boiling the kettle this morning then discovering despite the fact the boiler nearly blew up it still worked and the wife had switched the boiler off at the mains.

They don't appear because we don't want you rabble making a mess of the front page.

It could be worse, it could have actually blown up :p

lol welshbloke, sounds like a fun back morning.
The reason the comments don't appear on the home page is becuase the home page is ment to be informative, not fulla crap :P The reason a comment count doesn't appear is becuase I am far to lazy and haven't ever added one.
You all got off lightly this year! becuase of no event I didn't have as much material to play with to make an April fools joke. :(
Oh but NEXT year! Bwbahaha NEXT year!!

In the interest of keeping the Big Game home page ticks up I use the last 5 posts to see if it is even worth visiting the forums just wondered why the home page comments do not appear as forum posts in the same manor so I can see the last 5 topics including the home page comments.
