the BIG GAME 26 has been spotted and is fast approaching!

tBG26 is just 1 day away! The event takes place from the 19th (this Friday) - 21st (Sunday) of Feb 2010.

If you've already signed up and paid, congratulations! See the important information at the bottom of this post.

If not - the price is only £25 for the whole event, so sign up today - there is no cut off time so you are able to sign up for the event right up untill it starts :)

Important information:

Start/End Times: The start time for the event is 18:00 (or 6PM in old money) on the 19th (Friday) and ends at 18:00 on the Sunday!

Directions: Don't get lost on your way to the LAN! A complete list of directions can be found on our website forums http://thebiggame.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2047 or failing that just type "SO30 4EJ" into your TomTom or prefered GPS device and that should take you right to the venue (Wildern School) and from the car park follow the easy to spot signs and directions :)

Parking: At previous events you've been able to use a drop off area in front of the hall for unloading before parking in the main car park. The drop off area is not available due to a large number of contractors requiring access to the site on a constant basis. For this reason, please park in the main car park and bring your kit on foot.

Of course, hiding the valuables won't help against Gringo's laser-radar vision so perhaps instead you should use them to trade for money, which you can use to signup?. Maybe if you're quick enough it will be before the next event before it gets here and you might receive mercy?

But don't fret if these aren't the games you play. There are plenty of other games being played at the event and its the taking part that counts. Plus the diversity of the BIG GAMER tournament ensures that all round gaming prowess and enthusiasm are rewarded.

Only kidding, of course there will be no relenting but we can tell you that the BIG GAME 26 is due for arrival on the 19th of February 2010 till the 21st, starting at 18:00 on the friday till 18:00 on sunday. :)

Hello everyone,

Frightfully sorry for the delay, but we've just acheived some progress with regard to securing our location for tBG26 so thought this would be an opportune moment to update everyone.

Unfortunately the news isn't all good - there is no availability on the location over Christmas, so crushingly everyone is going to have to survive the festive period without the promise of tBG shaped LANage or the tasty mince pies.

You will however have something to look forward to early in the new year - we're just confirming dates for an event in Feburary 2010!
