Welcome to the home of the BIG GAME.
Well who are we? the BIG GAME is a LAN party based in Southampton. We have been running public events for 5 years now and we pride ourselves on providing a relaxed and social environment for LAN gaming at a very low price. Please feel free to join us on #thebiggame on Quakenet or e-mail one of the crew listed on the contact page. In the mean time look at the pictures of previous events and have a look over the forums.

Yay, signups are coming in thick and fast, and it's still 3 months to the event!
To reitterate, tBG 22 is the 25th - 27th of July, £25 for the weekend. Stay tuned for special group discounts which we'll finalise in a little while, but for now just get signed up :)
Finally with staggering technological grace kindly insert yourself firmly into the Facebook event and/or pillage the Steam group!

Captain Gonzales' eyes widened as he peered over the battlements that fortified the outpost for which he had only recently been given commad of. Along the horizon he could see a vast army marching towards him, his voice wavered as he began to hastilly bark orders to recently recruited squad placed under his control.
But it was only as the approaching army drew closer did the captain catch a glance of their standard.. a particularly formidible looking soldier was carrying a banner which somewhat resembled that of the old Fiat logo! how could this be? could the workers of the distant Fiat factory have been driven mad? Do they seek to exact revenge upon this remote outpost? It did dawn on the captain that thirty years of threading rear axle bolts into Pandas would indeed drive him rather mad, also. but still he thought this would be far too outlandish a possibility for a Saturday night.
And indeed, this was not the case, as he recognised the standard-bearing soldier to be none other than putty_thing!!
Then the true panic set in, he realised that this was not the begennings of an invasion, but it was the beginning of another BIGGAME!! and he had not yet completed the legendary tBG pizza order!!
The captain immedieatly set about ordering his chefs to down their swords, and return to man the ovens, in a blind panic he attempted to call in reinforcements to assist in assembling the vast quantity of pizzas required.
And a certain doubt crept into the back of the captain's mind... Would there be enough pepperoni to satisfy... THE BIGGAME!!!
Life slowly returns to normal and the cold weather clears in wake of the BIG GAME 21.
Congratulations to Sgt_Snacks for winning the BIG GAMER tourney by a clear margin and thanks to everyone who attended the event and helped make it a success :D

The unrest is apparent, a heaviness in the air like a storm is forming. Even the greenest newb can't fail to notice that the BIG GAME beast is beginning to wake from it's winter slumber..
And quite right too, as it's only 4 short days til the event. We've got 25 confirmed attendees and 5 regulars that are too slack to get their money in, meaning this even should be just bigger than the last one at 30.
Of course, there is still time to signup before the event, so grab your slice of BIG GAME action while it's still hot :D
